Our Eye Test
Glaucoma management begins with early detection. At The Oculists, we have technology which allows us to measure your glaucoma risk markers such as optic nerve analysis and visual field testing.
If you have been diagnosed with Glaucoma, our optometrists are therapeutically endorsed so they will be able to co-manage your disease with your Glaucoma specialist.

Genetic Risk Assessment
Here at The Oculists, we are registered with Seonix Bio, a world leading research company based in Adelaide.

Over the past few years, top glaucoma specialists and researchers have been analysing the world’s largest glaucoma database and have identified thousands of genetic variations that increase an individual’s risk of glaucoma.

Using this knowledge, SeonixBio has developed a Genetic Risk Assessment Service to identify individuals at risk of developing glaucoma.
At The Oculists, we are registered to have these Genetic Risk Assessment kits. If you have any concerns regarding your risk for glaucoma, please book a consultation with our friendly optometrists and we will be able to assess your eyes with retinal imaging, OCT scans and VR visual field headset. Our optometrists will be able to discuss with you if further assessment is recommended.
No GP referral is needed to see us for this service.
